The building in question was marked for demolition for a long time. But in Lagos, when a building is marked for demolition, the officials at the Lagos State Urban and Physical planing wait for the owner to come and settle them. That's why demolition is never carried out after the marking.
Lagos is working.
May God comfort the families of the victims.

May their souls rest in peace, amen
