A Nigerian man from the East, Ikechukwu Duke Ashiedu, alias Saviola, has been inducted into the United States (U.S.) Navy. Ashiedu is a GRADUATE of University of Benin, and one-time Director of Sports of the school’s Students Union Government (SUG).
The U.S. Navy is the naval warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces and one of the seven uniformed services of the United States. It is the most capable navy in the world and world's largest aircraft carrier fleet, with eleven in service, and two new carriers under construction.
With 336,978 personnel on active duty and 101,583 in the Ready Reserve, 290 deployable combat vessels and more than 3,700 operational aircraft, the U.S.
navy is the third-largest air force in the world, after the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army.

The U.S. Navy was founded on October 13, 1775, with the Department of the Navy established in 1798. The Navy's mission is to “maintain, train and equip combat-ready naval forces capable of winning wars, deterring aggression and maintaining freedom of the seas," and it does so with warfare specialities that include aviation, surface warfare, nuclear submarines, special forces, and support services.
There are approximately 326,000 sailors serving actively in the U.S. Navy today with an additional 110,000 reserve personnel.
Asiedu’s induction into the United States navy is a clear indication that there are talented and good Nigerians especially from the Eastern part of the country
Congratulations to him!!!

He's trying to tell us not at Eastern men are not all bad, we know that too. I've met few Igbos who I enjoyed their company so much and I love them, so as many bad ones that I don't wanna have anything with

The thing is all tribes has good ones and need ones.
