I want to share with you some new words added to English
language this outgoing year 2016. You have to know these words because
English language is our (Nigeria) official language and the right use of
it can stand you out or even make you a millionaire. It should
be noted that local Nigerian names like Ogadinma, Afaka, Muyiwa or any
native word can be added to dictionary if something significant happens
that relates
to it. For example, former Nigerian Minister of Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe name was added to Urban dictionary when he disrupted the announcement of election result during 2015 polls. Urban Dictionary is a crowdsourced online dictionary of slang words and phrases that was founded in 1999 as a parody of Dictionary.com.

Below are list of some standard words added to Oxford dictionary this outgoing year 2016. Oxford Dictionary of English (ODE) is a single-volume English dictionary published by Oxford University Press, it is updated four times a year.
The new words are:
1. CLICKTIVISM:
The practice of signaling support for a political or social cause by means of the Internet, through social media, online petitions, etc., rather than by more substantive involvement.
2. FREEMIUM :
A business model, especially on the Internet, whereby basic services are provided free of charge while more advanced features must be paid for. As a freelancer, I used the word "Freemium" a lot when discussing with my prospects and clients to lure them to use my services. For instance, I can charge a client N100,000 and promise to render another service for him for free. It's a good marketing strategy. All business minded person should consider using the word "Freemium".
3. MOOBS:
Have you seen men with big Breasts? There is a new word for it and it is called "Moobs". You can say, “Mr. Osakwe’s moobs looks bigger today”. Moobs are usually prominent breasts on a man (likened to those of a woman), typically as a result of excess pectoral fat.
4. YODA:
A person who embodies the characteristics
5. YOLO:
You only live once’; used to express the view that one should make the most of the present moment without worrying about the future (often as a rationale for impulsive or reckless behaviour).
6. GENDER-FLUID
It means not clearly or wholly male or female; designating a person who does not identify with a single fixed gender.
There are other new words added to dictionary this year that are too numerous to mention.
QUESTIONS:
1. Which of the above mentioned new words do you like most?

HOW
IT WORKS: STAGE 1 Level 1: Here you register with just 1,000 naira and
you will be automatically paired with a NIGERIAN member from any part of
the country which you pay the 1,000 naira to. Upon confirmation by the
person, you will be automatically matched by the System to receive
payment of 1,000 naira from 4 members, giving you a total of 4,000
naira. Level 2: After receiving your payment of 4,000 naira, you upgrade
to level 2 by paying 2,500 naira (from the 4,000 naira you got from
LEVEL 1) to a member in level 2 which the system will pair with you.
When your payment is confirmed, you will be automatically matched to
receive 2500 naira from 16 persons, which is 40,000 naira. LEVEL 3:
Here, you pay 5,000 naira (from the 40,000 naira you got from LEVEL 2)
to a member matched with you. When your payment is confirmed, you will be
automatically matched to receive 5000 naira from 64 persons, which is
320,000 naira. LEVEL 4: Here, you pay 10,000 naira (from the 320,000
naira you got from LEVEL 3) to a member matched with you. When your
payment is confirmed, you will be automatically matched to receive
10,000 naira from 256 persons, which is 2,560,000 naira. STAGE 2 On
stage 2, you will make over 40 million naira! But for now, let's focus
on Stage 1. The picture below explains Stage 2 better. Differences b/w
this system and other network businesses : This system is unique.
