A member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has accused the church leadership of terminating his membership because he appeared on the show of OAP, Daddy Freeze, who has been teaching people to go against the dictates of the church, particularly Tithing.
Ayilara who was once a student of Redeemed Bible College (RCBC), an RCCG Pastor School, had written an article in September in which he accused the church’s authority of maltreating him while he was in the school. Ayilara said he was questioning some of the things the church was teaching him and many others in the school. When he questioned the church, he was tagged rebellious.
Ayilara in his interview with Freeze narrated how himself and other students of the Bible school were kept in the unhygienic environment to the extent they were infected with guinea worms
and other diseases. He accused the church leaders of forcefully turning them into bricklayers to build houses for the church in the campground.
He also accused the church of forcing them to do chores for other pastors as well as tender to the needs of the pastor’s household, taking their children to school. He said the church told them that they should count it all as a blessing to do all that they are being forced to do.
Ayilara Oluwaseunfunmi wrote on Facebook;

Daddy has reacted on his Instagram page writing;
"The church has become the ‘world’ that Jesus warned us about. The principalities and powers are not your aunty in the village ‘doing’ you, rather they are behind pulpits.

I'm not a redeem member. But they did the right thing by expelling you. If you're against some of the church practices and doctrines as you alleged, what were you still doing there, if not to create rebellion and disaffection amongst the members? We have be enjoined by the bible, "....to mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which we have learned; and avoid them". (Rom16:17).

I have found out a long time ago that churches forbid an open mind. Churches forbid legitimate questions and instead to reply to the questions they either deflect it or just leave it.
I've asked in a redeem church why a worker of the church should be employed in an alcoholic brewery only for my question to get deflected. You can't preach about God forbidding alcohol and you know a worker in your church works in such place and still let him be a worker and you receive his tithe.
The church don't actually want people to grow in knowledge. Just their own version of what they want people to know.

Is not right to expel somebody from church instead he would have been stop from certain functions in d church that will make him to realize his mistake. After all we never heard that Jesus stopped anybody from following him.
