A former minister for women affairs, Jumai Alhassan popularly known as “Mama Taraba” has dumped the United Democratic Party, UDP for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Politics Nigeria gathered that Alhassan, at a meeting in her Jalingo Residence, explained that her defection to the PDP was based on an opinion poll carried out at a stakeholders’ meeting.
Alhassan contested for governorship on the platform of the UDP in the 2019 general elections and lost.
Aisha was in APC but was not satisfied with the party structure, she decamped to UDP, now she is a PDP member.
Alhassan orally supported Atiku presidency . It seems she sees good omen in PDP which made her join the party. Some pundits claim that Aisha joined PDP because she thinks Atiku will win at the Supreme Court. She really likes Atiku.
This is a good news to PDP members and all her supporters

All of you commenting nonsense here don’t know political calculations very well, you people don’t know that APC will die a natural death after Buhari’s tenure, Apc is still existing today is Buhari, any house built on a shaky foundation doesn’t last long, Apc was built on lies and deceit. So the woman has calculated it very well and you will see what will happen immediately after Apc presidential primaries 2022.
