ADC Bayelsa Denies Sponsorship Allegations, Describes APC Claims as Baseless Distraction ‎

The attention of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bayelsa State Chapter, has been drawn to a press release by a group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), alleging that the Honorable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, is sponsoring our great party in the state

‎We wish to categorically state that the claim is entirely false, malicious, and a clear attempt by desperate political actors to distract the public from the growing popularity and grassroots acceptance of the ADC as a credible alternative in Bayelsa State.
‎The ADC is a national party, driven by ideology, people-centered programs, and committed members who believe in the vision of a better Nigeria. Our progress in Bayelsa is a result of tireless work by patriotic citizens who are fed up with the failures of both the APC and PDP in delivering good governance to the people.
‎We challenge the so-called APC Progressives Forum to provide any credible evidence to back their claims or desist from spreading falsehoods. The ADC does not and will not serve as a political tool for any individual or party, and we remain focused on our mission to liberate Bayelsans from decades of misrule.
‎The party urges the general public to disregard the said statement and continue to support the ADC as we build a strong, people-oriented platform capable of transforming Bayelsa State and Nigeria at large.
‎Signed:
‎Mr. ThankGod Theophilus Osain
‎State Publicity Secretary,
‎African Democratic Congress (ADC)
‎Bayelsa State Chapter
