Rev. Dr. S.D. Ojims is dead. He died on March 2026 at age 94. He 

founded several educational institutions in Rivers State. He is often regarded as a pioneer of private education in the region. He was born on March

• Ojims College
  : A well-known secondary school with campuses in Port Harcourt (Mile 3 Diobu) and Rumuji in Emohua Local Government Area.
• Professional Institute of Secretaries (P.I.S.)
  : Established in the early 1970s at Mile 3 Port Harcourt, this was one of his earliest educational ventures.
• Ojims Group of Christian Schools: An umbrella organization that provides academic, moral, and spiritual training from junior to senior secondary levels (JSS1–SSS3).

• Endy Edeson attended Ojims College Rumuji Port Harcourt for his Secondary School education. He was appointed the Science Prefect of his school.

  While in Secondary school, Edeson wrote books but it was not published due to his humble background. Edeson graduated from Ojims College in 2005.
