After much social media outburst, the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has finally banned Falz’s controversial song This Is Nigeria. They disclosed that the song is vulgar and not worthy of airplay.
Following this, they have shared a memo to all radio stations not to play the song ever again or pay the sum of N100,000 for violating their rules.
It appears that NBC is not comfortable with a particular line in the song which says, ‘this is Nigeria look how we living now, everybody be criminal’.
Also in that category was Wande Coal and the YBNL boss, Olamide. This letter was shared on Twitter by a user and radio presenter, Folaranmi Folayan (@TheFavoredWoman).

All because he used hijab in the video and he is a christianthat the main reason this muslim bigot ganged up against him or else where is the vulgar language in the lyrics of the song.
NBC should remember nigeria is a secular nation and not a religious nation.

Endy Edeson I also liked every part of the song we don't need to deceive our self there nothing wrong with the song one way or the other we steal, bribe, kill, do alot of bad stuff. It not on till you take gun before you kill, or on till you break bank before you steal, or on till you are a politician before you bribe anyone. Every part of the song touch each and every Nigerians God should just help us.
