The Anambra State Government will soon launch CCTV Security Initiative in the state as the state executive council has approved the purchase of surveillance cameras for the purpose of watertight security.
This was made public by Governor Willie Obiano at an event in Awka where he explained that the surveillance cameras would be placed on mango trees as well as other strategic locations for crime detections.
He said the cameras were known as invincible eyes that would not be seen by anyone but would be installed in various places to detect criminal activities adding that millions of the surveillance cameras would be procured by the state government.
