The chairman of the Governing Council of the National Open University of Nigeria, Professor Peter Okebukola, says two repentant Boko Haram insurgents have enrolled for degree programmes at the institution.
Speaking yesterday after a council meeting in Abuja, he said more women were enrolling at the university than men.
According to him, the university has the largest enrolment so far with 550,000 students out of which women have outnumbered men.
Edeson Online News learnt that the two ex boko haram members will study up to PhD level at the National Open University.
