Nigerians Lament As Rivers Governor Demolishes Hotels For Voilating Lockdown

Prodest Hotel, Eleme has been demolished by the Rivers State government for not obeying lockdown rules.
Gov Wike is on ground enforcing the demolition exercise. He has also auctioned cars worth 3million for just N200,000 , belonging to Owners of lockdown violators.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has given reasons why he demolished Prodest Hotel in Alode and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne, both in Eleme Local Government Area of the state.

Wike said the hotels were demolished after it violated an Executive Order on COVID 19, despite warnings from the State government.

The Governor said that the focus on hotels was because one of the coronavirus cases in the state spread the virus from a hotel.

Wike who monitored the demolition of Prodest Hotel, Alode, Eleme said his action was in line with the Rivers State Government Executive Order 6, which banned the operation of hotels across the 23 Local Government Areas of the State.

Governor Wike told newsmen at the demolition scene that the law must be obeyed, hence the State Government’s decision to enforce it.

GUYS, IS GOVERNOR WIKE A WICKED MAN? IS HE RIGHT OR WRONG FOR DOING THIS?
GUYS, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

GOVERNOR NYESON WIKE, missed this one. Absolute RUBBISH AND RECKLESS USE OF POWER.

The owners of those properties should sue him to court, as well as to the national human rights commission and make sure he pays fully.

Why should anyone be thinking of destroying someone's source of income at this trying times with global recession already affecting millions of people ?

Just wickedness and thoughtless action

There are rules of engagement as a policy scientist the first question is v violators tried in a competent court . You can use power arbitrarily whether u r a governor , u engage rules as stipulation by the Constitution . He has gone too far I believe it was a personal vendetta he unleased on an opponent

This film won't end in his favour. You don't take food from a man's mouth especially when you are not the one who provided the food .

He has forgotten he will leave their one day. Think about this:

In 1985, Dasuki arrested Buhari and put him in house arrest under the administration of Babangida. Buhari father died during that time, but he was not aloud to pay last respect to his father before been buried. Today, Dasuki was in prison while his father also died under Buhari administration. Where is Babangida today? Everything u do in life, think about the consequences
