Tinubu sacks Governor Siminalayi Fubara and deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu. Appoints Admiral Ibok Ete Ibas as sole administrator. A State of Emergency has been declared in Rivers State. Governor and the HoA members suspended for 6 months!
Tinubu said Governor Fubara is weak and can't control the affairs of the State.
This comes just hours after a similar explosion rocked the Trans Niger Pipeline operated by Shell in Bodo, Gokana Local Government Area.
The latest incident reportedly occurred at a manifold connecting a federal pipeline deep inside the forest.
The pipeline transports crude oil to Brass in Bayelsa State.
