The following day, June 19, a service was held at the church, but Pastor Isah was notably absent from the pulpit.
On his Facebook page, Pastor Isah’s intro is that the “purposes of this page is (sic) to touch lives as the Holy spirit leads because God has given me power.”
On June 15, Father’s Day, he posted on Facebook, “Dear God, thank you for the gift of fatherhood.
We pray for all fathers and those hoping to become fathers. May You give them the strength to be a vessel of Your love. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.”
In a post on June 11, he said, “The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1, NASB). We need the Holy Spirit's help any time we stand up for Jesus; it is His strength that we must lean on. We need His boldness and courage to be light in a dark world if we are to be a mouthpiece for Him.”
However, authorities exclusively told SaharaReporters that he abused his spiritual influence to exploit a minor.
Sources within the FCID confirm that the victim, a 14-year-old girl, was allegedly sexually assaulted by Isah, leading to his arrest.
Attempts to reach the cleric for comment were unsuccessful, as he did not respond to calls to his mobile phone.
Meanwhile, SaharaReporters gathered that some police officers have allegedly been working behind the scenes to shield the pastor and prevent his name from being made public.
Investigators are reportedly handling the case with a level of secrecy due to the sensitive nature of the allegations and the suspect’s standing as a religious leader.
