A coalition of major payment processors in Nigeria, including Paystack and Flutterwave, has threatened to suspend the processing and switching of Verve card transactions nationwide.
This escalation stems from a dispute with Interswitch and Verve International over alleged regulatory violations and anti-competitive exclusive routing practices. If implemented, this suspension could cause massive disruptions for millions of cardholders, online merchants, and Point of Sale (POS) agents who rely on these channels for daily payments
