Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the man accused of running a fake agency, the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has vowed to clear his name, saying he is ready to face the law.
Recall that on Wednesday, July 1, the Presidency denied knowledge of the said agency. A statement released by presidential media aide, Bayo Onanuga, said that Adeyemi is being investigated by security agents and will be charged to court on July 27. The statement added that Adeyemi claimed he was given an appointment letter by President Tinubu's Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, but that the claim has since been denied by Gbajabiamila.
In a chat with Channels TV this evening, Adeyemi said he was ready to defend himself, insisting that he was lawfully appointed to head the organisation.
